Sikhlens India 2026: Bridging Barriers Through the Power of Inclusive Storytelling – Celebrating Resilience at Chandigarh Spinal Rehab

At the heart of the Sikhlens: Sikh Arts and Film Festival 2026 in India is a steadfast commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). We believe that world-class storytelling belongs to everyone, and that access to the arts should never be limited by physical barriers.

In the spirit of this vision, we were honoured to host a special screening and engagement program today (24th February 2026) at the Chandigarh Spinal Rehab. This session provided residents and staff with an exclusive preview of our curated film lineup, ensuring our celebration of heritage and human resilience reaches every corner of our community.

The program featured an inspiring interaction joined by Sikhlens co-founder Gurpreet K Singh, Honorary Festival Director for Sikhlens India Ojaswwee Sharma, Nicky P Kaur, Founder & CEO, Chandigarh Spinal Rehab, Tejinder Saluja, Admin Head and Dr. Rimpi Arora, policy advisor on inclusion, diversity and accessibility for Pinaka Mediaworks, who shared the vision behind this year’s programming. By bringing these stories directly to those who may face challenges in attending traditional venues, we are proud to foster a festival experience that is truly inclusive, accessible and deeply human.
