Ojaswwee Sharma Wins the “Award for Excellence for Impactful Communication” for Admitted by Public Relations Council of India ( PRCI ) at the PRCI State Level Communication Awards 2021 in Chandigarh.

On the occasion of World Communicators Day, Sh. Ojaswwee Sharma was presented with the Award of Excellence for Impactful Communication by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) at the PRCI State Level Communication Awards 2021. The ceremony was held today at GGDSD College, Sector 32, Chandigarh.

Mr. Sharma was felicitated in deep appreciation of his work to highlight the plight of transgenders by an empathetic portrayal of their lives through the highly acclaimed documentary ADMITTED and for creating a deep social impact.

Eminent personalities from PRCI, such as Dr. HK Bali (Cardiologist), Sh. Upkar K Sharma (President GGDSD College Society), Dr. Ajay Sharma, (Principal GGDSD College), CJ Singh (National Senior Vice President, PRCI), Renuka Salwan (Northern India Head, PRCI), Sudeep Rawat (Chapter Secretary, PRCI) and Dr. Priya Chadha (YCC Chair, GGDSD College) were present at the ceremony.

Earlier this year, Ojaswwee Sharma was honored and felicitated by India’s Regional PR Awards 2021 (IRPRA) for the Best Creative Entertainment Campaign at the first edition of India’s Regional PR Awards 2021 (IRPRA) in the best 40 under 40 category. He was also recognised by TiE Chandigarh for his Outstanding Contribution to TiE Chandigarh in 2021 through film for Startups. He recieved appreciation from the Health Department, Haryana for his campaign films on spreading awareness on World No Tobacco Day and Post Covid Care Initiative Project – Umang.

Currently, Ojaswwee Sharma is involved in filming for Sikhlens India, RFE Unplugged talk show for Rolling Frames Entertainment, Pinaka Mediaworks’ next major film, and community-centric films for social and non-profit organisations such as Rotary Chandigarh Shivalik.

Mr. Sharma is known for his award-winning films Admitted, Zubaan, The Last Date, Chaurassi, Badalti Soch, Lucky Kabotar, Silver Lining – The Journey of Rashpal Singh, Art Finds Its Way, Kites: Beyond Boundaries, Bodybuilding The Indian Way, and Scars – That Remain After 100 Years of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

Till date, Ojaswwee’s films have successfully cemented their footprints to more than 48 prestigious Film Festivals, across the globe. His films have won accolades in various categories including for Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor along with several nominations for best film across various categories.
